Reservoir Engineer advisor is a key member of Geoscience and Petroleum Engineering team. He/she will do full-field review from reservoir engineering perspective and support other Product Lines as trusted advisor. This role will do hands-on work of reservoir engineering analysis from wellbore-scale into field-scale, technical and coaching presentations, generate reports, and some business development involvement.
The successful Reservoir Engineer Advisor will have extensive communication at all levels, have good personal confidence, and comfortable with client interactions.
Hands-on work and advice for reservoir engineering discipline in wellbore-scale, full-field review and subsurface works
Data QC and review of geophysics, geology, petrophysical, reservoir and petroleum engineering information
Analyze quantity and quality, then identify issues, risks and uncertainties
Derive rock and reservoir properties, pressure examination, material balance model and history matching
Construct simulation, dynamic model and production prediction
Hands-on work on primary, secondary and tertiary oil recovery for particular projects
Advise on production technology, upper and lower completions
Support on reservoir engineering related logging technologies technical evaluation
Technical presentation and generate reports
Support Product Lines to provide best technical evaluation
Bachelor degree. Master / Phd degree will be advantageous.
15+ years experiences of reservoir engineer in oil and gas company with operating companies
Experience on clastic and carbonate reservoir
Strong varied reservoir engineer background experience
Have international experiences outside Indonesia at least 2 years
Have experiences in Australia and Asia Pacific reservoir will be advantageous
Familiar with software for reservoir simulation
Valid to work in Indonesia
Fluent in speaking and writing in English and Bahasa Indonesia
Confidence and technically-strong to provide detail explanation, mentoring, coaching, depth-knowledge in reservoir engineering, and able to do comprehensive and detail reservoir engineering analysis with limited supervision.
