Job Title Reservoir Engineer (Management) Industry Oil & Gas Main Function Area Reservoir Engineer Sub Function Area Reservoir Engineer Work Location Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Candidate Profile Job Description •Reservoir Monitoring Test: (i)Analyses, interprets and evaluates reservoir data obtained from reservoir monitoring, logs, cores, P. V.T., field tests and reservoir performance to determine reservoir parameters, oil and gas in place and reserves (ii)Conducts studies, as assigned, to predict future reservoir performance. Includes evaluating alternative allocations of production/injection wells, optimum rates of recovery per well and the entire field plans (iii)Participates in preparation of updated development plans for the assigned field to optimise recovery and suggests remedial actions such as workovers, stimulation to improve recovery. •Work Controls- (i)Maintains reservoir data to provide up-to-date input information (ii)Coordinates with Geology, Production and Drilling engineers and participates in drawing up drilling and completion programmes for all wells and recommends to supervisor necessary workovers, coring, logging, production/injection tests (iii)Draws up reservoir monitoring Bar Chart and monitors well performance on daily basis through feedback information from operating divisions, compares the actual achievement against planned targets, discusses operational problems and recommends remedial actions and detects deviations (iv)Participates in the preparation of PDD's Monthly Reports such as Production Allocation, Injection Allocation, Well Status, and Petroleum Engineering Reports. Other Related Duties:- Performs other related duties as assigned by Supervisor such as: preparing necessary reports, participating with simulation engineers in updating simulation models, participating in training assigned junior employees and developers etc. Preparing and presenting items to the Reservoir Studies Sub-Committee. Work Experience 8 Years + Relevant Experience 8 Years + Highest Qualification Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering discipline. Job Summary Performs variety of reservoir engineering duties related to gathering and analysis of data, appraisal and monitoring of well and reservoir performance, estimating reserves and predicting future performance to ensure optimum recovery. Utilizes the available computer in an efficient manner.
