Our client, a privately held operating company in S. La. is seeking an experienced reservoir engineer with operations experience to help them both run economics, recommend development opportunities, but to also assist in well/field surveillance activities as well. Company operates onshore U.S. and shallow water GoM. Company is very stable with private backing and profitable properties providing steady cash flow.
Competitive comp/benefits and room to grow and have ideas worked on with much less restriction/gates of a large oil co. Knowledgeable and easy to work with manager and team.
Requirements for success:
BS Petroleum Engineering
5+ years in combination reservoir engineering with some production operations/surveillance experience
Typical production surveillance ops exp. would include nodal analysis, bottom hole pressure analyses and gas lift
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Qualified candidate living in or having local ties to S. La.
Oil and Gas Operating company experience-preferably at an independent, if major oil co. exp. must be able to transition to smaller company environment where multiple hats vs. silo/SME experience is a premium at larger co's.
