Bring your expertise in ARIES and SQL and you could contribute to a major LNG operation.About this role As Senior Reservoir Analyst you will be responsible for creating, maintaining and updating ARIES reserves databases and related technical databases. You will be working closely with engineers and others in the upstream group, providing analytical and business support in areas such as: acquisitions, budget, AFEs and SEC reserves accounting (SMOG, impairment calculations, etc).Other duties may include:- Create and manage reserves databases (mostly ARIES)Generate reports and queries by integrating various databases; prepare presentation graphics Work with engineers and finance personnel to run economic models and scenariosSearch and compile well and production data from various sources such as Enerdeq and Drilling InfoCreate and maintain related databases such as: Spotfire, SQL, etcWork with consultants to help generate reserves reportsThere is a managerial aspect to this role, as you will be guiding and mentoring less experienced staff. You will have the opportunity to form your own team in due course. From day one, you will be contributing to the collaborative culture of this expanding organization.Minimal travel (less than 10%) may be required to support some business activities.About you Youll need at least 7 years of experience working as a reservoir analyst or technician. Youll have expert proficiency in ARIES, Access and Excel, SQL is a plus.Required:Degree in STEM or business-related majors Must have experience with managing SEC based reserves databaseWorking knowledge of Spotfire, Enerdeq, Drilling Info, PHDWin and other reservoir engineering related softwareExperience with upstream M&A; work is desirable, but not essential.About YouYoull need to be a self-starter, able to complete tasks to multiple deadlines and juggle priorities.
