We are currently recruiting for a Petroleum Engineer that specializes in Reserves Assessment.
Lead/guide work processes including training and mentoring of more junior staff.
Be able to lead technical conferences and forums on behalf of the company.
Liaison responsibilities with several departments including, but not limited to exploration, engineering, development, and finance.
Candidate should have a well-rounded knowledge of upstream business with specialty skills in subsurface evaluation and reserves assessment.
Bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering, AND a Master degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline. PhD or experience/training in business, economics, and/or finance is attractive.
Minimum of 15 years of experience gained through operators/consulting firms.
Ideal candidates will have worked with British Petroleum, Ryder Scott, and/or Gaffney, Cline & Associates.
Extensive experience in reserves classification and reporting (SEC/PRMS etc.), classic reservoir engineering, (static and dynamic modeling of reservoirs), and EOR.
Additional experience in reservoir engineering regarding technical principles for developing long-term reservoir depletion plans, economic evaluations, and KPI/benchmarking preferred.
Must provide technical expertise while exhibiting managerial acumen.
Top-notch communication skills including presentation experience to upper level executive management and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
