Have the skills and knowledge required to specify, design, evaluate/troubleshoot and commission oil and gas processing/treating plants and equipment. Will be required to interface with Facility/Production Engineers and field personnel on various projects. • Responsible for optimizing performance by maximizing production while minimizing operating expenses. • Work closely with, and advise Operations personnel during Plant Operation, Start-ups and Shutdowns. • Travel to North Slope is required. Detailed Description • Thorough understanding of crude oil and natural gas processing and treatment: o Proficient in the design and simulation (HYSYS) of processing facilities/systems and equipment, from conceptual to P&ID defined levels. o Proficient in selection, design, performance evaluation and debottlenecking/troubleshooting of vessels (separators, towers), heat exchangers, piping, control valves, PSVs and other safety systems.General working knowledge and fundamentals in the areas of thermodynamics, risk assessment, flow assurance/hydraulics, materials/corrosion, instrumentation and controls, measurement and metering, and rotating equipment. o General working knowledge of Autocad a plus. o Able to apply industry/engineering standards • Strong technical attributes (e.g., attention to details, highly organized and good math/analytical skills). • Display good troubleshooting skills: o Able to solve technical issues in a timely manner. o Displays good judgment, understands when to solicit help. o Good field troubleshooting skills. • Able to interface with and work well in a team environment: o Work well with peers, field personnel, and other groups within organization. Job Requirements  Consistently demonstrate support and commitment to management plans, goals, budgets, and policies.  Monitor production, costs, and well activities on all properties.  Work with the field production staff to optimize production, minimize cost and improve field operations.  Work with Reservoir to analyze well performance and generate programs to improve well productivity.  Analyze all well data gathering and maintenance requests received from Reservoir Department and generate appropriate well activity proposals.  Coordinate all well activity programs with Reservoir and Well Operations prior to submitting for approval.  Monitor and assess performance of downhole completions and production equipment and request appropriate mitigations or workovers as needed  Plan and execute all post drilling, pre-production testing and well cleanup activities.  Provide support and review data input for production databases, Avocet and OVS  Assemble production and activity information for daily reports.  Assemble and/or review monthly, quarterly and annual production reports.  Provide all information required for regulatory reporting on appropriate activities and review reports.  Review production accounting.  Participate in joint venture meetings for outside operated properties as needed.  Assist in developing production, capital expense and operating budgets.  BS in Petroleum/Process/Chemcial (others Disciplines Appropriate) Engineering and 3-5 years oil & gas experience.  Familiar with North Slope operations and production facilities.  Good teamwork skills to interface with office and field staff.  PC proficient, familiar with Windows 95 and MS Office software.
