YOUR OPPORTUNITY:

You will be responsible for the optimization and downhole maintenance of the areas oil and gas wells, coordinating the well servicing group activities for the area, while maintaining an environmentally safe and cost effective work environment. Specifically, you will interact and coordinate daily with the technical and operations staff along with well servicing contractors to execute programs compliant to all regulatory and company standards. You will demonstrate company core values while endorsing the company’s safety management system with employees and contractors alike.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE YOUR MARK?

PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT:
Work with Production Engineers and area foreman to meet area production targets
Work with field operations groups to prioritize rig activities on a daily basis
Review well and artificial lift performance on a regular basis
Monitor volumes for both oil and gas properties, working closely with operation and engineering groups to maintain uptime performance
Understand down time drivers and pursue improvements with field staff
Actively participate in all district well reviews
Track and prioritize actions and ensure timely completion
Set up and manage a district wide pumping well fluid level program
Optimize oil well pumping performance utilizing fluid level and dyno data
Review oil and gas well production history and respond to anomalous decline
Recommend and implement production optimization programs including but not limited to:
Rod pumps
Gas lift
Plunger lift
Utilize Virtuwell and Rodstar software to model wellbore and pipeline systems to design and optimize artificial lift systems
Monitor and evaluate booster compression for economic incremental gain
CAPEX/OPEX MANAGEMENT:
Develop and maintain the Non Volume Add WO budgets to forecast and explain variances for capital expenditures
Prepare and review WO AFE’s to ensure economic evaluations have been completed and economic hurdles cleared
Work with Superintendents and Foreman to prepare and manage DH opex budgets
Ensure reasonable payouts and generate Authorizations for Expenditure (AFEs) as necessary and manage the capital budget for funds spent on the above items

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 2 years of operations/well servicing experience complemented by a technical diploma or degree
Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Working knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations and budget preparation experience
Understand and apply cost benefit analysis, business practices/controls, ethics and financial reporting
Skilled with required software (MS Excel, MS Word , MS Outlook, Production Tracker, Accumap, PVR, Fieldview, Scada Systems, Well Review Tracker, Virtuwell, Rodstar/Srod, Tableau)
