Job Description A Shell QGC Production Support Engineer has a shared responsibility to safely and efficiently delivery gas and water through a production system to end users. The production system includes a CSG reservoir, wellheads, gathering lines, compressor and processing facilities and an export line.
The successful candidate will be a valued, inline member who is part of a multi-disciplinary Production Operations team, a team that includes front line maintainers and operators through to an Area Operations Managers.
At this point in time, the successor will assess and assure completion designs, support work over scheduling for, will regularly monitor well integrity, well production performance and will work directly with field staff both remotely and during regular site visiting building to maximise production potential from the catchment.
Requirements The successful candidate will have a breadth of experience within CSG operations across; Production Operations, Production Technology, Production Analysis, Reservoir and Facility Management.
An Engineering degree preferred in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical or another technical related discipline. Experience in a technical position; including Production Operations, Well Engineering, Process Engineering, Production Technology or Reservoir Engineering is a requirement. CSG industry experience in a similar position will be a distinct advantage.
You will need determination and be ready to work in a fast moving and challenging environment. You will have outstanding skills in collaboration, negotiation, stakeholder management, communication, problem solving and influencing. You will also be capable of building effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders including staff, contractors and external suppliers.
