Job Description/Major Duties (general job functions, responsibilities, day-to-day tasks & activities)
The Production Support Engineer will be responsible to provide the required support for the field operation on process optimization and production monitoring.
The Production Support Engineer responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Manages all Operations Optimization and Troubleshooting for production Facilities.
Highlight all surface constrains and bottlenecks, and work with Facilities and Field operations to remove them.
Manages internal interfaces on all matters related to Operations.
Manages Operations interfaces between third parties.
Contributes to short and long-term operation planning and strategy.
Perform quality controls and monitor production KPI’s to ensure production targets are achieved safely.
Owner of the monthly production deferment database ensuring all upcoming maintenance/shutdowns are executed according to agreed deferment and timeline.
Work with Facilities on new projects, participate in design review and HAZOPs.
Ensure all MOC (Management of Change) items are captured in the relevant system and requirements of the MOC system in general are adhered to.
Prepares and present operational technical presentations as required.
Champions special projects as directed by Operations Manager.
Requirements (Education required, background, experience, skills)
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, preferred in Process or Chemical Engineering.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience related to Oil & Gas Operations.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in gas processing operation.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems and identify enhancement opportunities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
