Our client is seeking a Production Support Engineer for a key role in their business based in Brisbane. The position will be on a 12 month contract and the candidate will be accountable for the safe delivery of production in their respective region. The candidate will be responsible in delivering the production forecasting volumes, aligning the field priority and setting the rig schedule to achieve production targets.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop field start up scenarios to support field commissioning.Attend the daily production calls to support the field engineers as required.Daily production monitoring and analysis.Proactively maintain and develop close working relationships with the various working groups in the company, which will involve regular field travel.Update and monitor well production trends and discuss daily remedial actions with Optimisation Lead, PT and Field Team.Liaise with the Compression Team and Field Production Team to deliver the required volumes of gas to meet daily nominations, maximising the production potential across the field.Accountable for FBHP optimisation and tracking.Accountable for daily gathering flow assurance management.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:A tertiary qualification (Bachelor or higher degree) in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, or other technical related discipline.Demonstrated experience in a technical position such as, but not limited to Production Operations, Well Engineering, Process Engineering, Production Technology or Reservoir Engineering.Relevant industry experience with demonstrated skills and competencies.
