  Job Description Lubricants Supply Chain (LSC) is responsible for planning, production and delivery of lubricants to Shell customers and distributor partners all over the world. LSC provides the bedrock of Shell’s customer value proposition through security of supply and assurance of superior product quality. Globally, LSC operates more than 50 Lube Oil Blending Plants, Base Oil Manufacturing Plants and nearly 20 Grease Manufacturing Plants as well as several Distribution Centers worldwide, with approximately 3200 employees.

The Production Performance Analysts are a member of the Regional Performance & Development team. The Regional Performance & Development team is responsible for driving competitiveness and structural change within LSC in the Americas region, looking end-to-end across all supply chain functions, assets and processes. The team drives operational excellence, with a focus on plant operations, engineering and technical support, ensures the regional implementation of global LSC strategies, manages the maturation of regional value opportunities and drives the development and adoption of world class practices. It also champions Continuous Improvement across the supply chain through culture, competency and leadership.

Accountabilities

Using centrally prepared reporting, work with stakeholders to provide commentary, actionable commercial insights and propose Return-To-Green (RTG) actions
Implement OEE Performance and Improvement Plans
Drive Plant Performance Value Drivers of Flush, OEE and Maintenance
Support local CI Council to ensure alignment with Production Performance Priorities
Evaluate (Internal/External) Good Practices and drive implementation
Identify and Drive Efficiency Improvements in Plant Operations jointly with Ops Teams for E2E Value of Teams
Deliver IBV Savings via the Grassroots IBV Team structure jointly with Operations
Support biennial PIMS Benchmarking study
Embed network-wide initiatives with Ops Teams
Interfaces with broader Regional Performance & Development Team members
Support local HSSE initiatives to drive performance
Hold assurance program for LSC NA Ops BluePrint

Requirements

Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Manufacturing, Quality, Operations or Business preferred
Minimum three (3) years of practical Lean/ Continuous Improvement experience in applying Continuous Improvement and Lean tools (i.e. value stream mapping; identifying and eliminating waste, 5s, Kaizen facilitation, etc.)
Hold CI / Lean Certifications (i.e. Lean Practitioner, Green Belt, Black Belt) preferred
Minimum 2 years’ work experience at a manufacturing site preferred
Practical Lean/ Continuous Improvement experience in applying Continuous Improvement and Lean tools (i.e. value stream mapping; identifying and eliminating waste, 5s, Kaizen facilitation, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new approaches (i.e. SIPOC, A3 Analysis, etc.)
Affinity toward engaging with frontline leaders and workers in problem solving, demonstrating a supportive style of leadership, and good inquiry/analytical skills
Effective communication skills (presentation, effective conversations, written)
Strong facilitation skills (team work and team building)
Working knowledge of GSAP is preferred
Skilled in use of MS-Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
