The CRC Operations Resource Completions and Workover Team is seeking to fill a Production Operations Engineer position to support our California operations, located in our Bakersfield, CA office.

Responsibilities
Completion and Workover Operations Engineers are key members of the Operations Resources Team, providing the link from the subsurface to surface for all well workover operations at CRC. They use their experience and skills to prepare and provide technical support for new well completions and capital workovers. They participate in Operation Area collaboration activities; providing input on completion methods and cost, and optimizing well completion and stimulation practices. They also provide operations engineering support to all of CRC Operation Areas as needed.
Qualifications

Required qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Petroleum or related)
Minimum five years production and operations engineering experience
Knowledge of industry completion and workover practices
Ability to prepare regulatory documents and permits in support of workover activities
Ability to perform artificial lift system selection and collaborate with the Artificial Lift Operation Engineering Team to implement artificial lift systems in the field including rod pump, jet pump, ESP’s and gas lift
Demonstrated ability or capacity to identify, develop, plan and execute workovers and completions
Ability to perform post job economics and formulate recommendations for improving future operations
Knowledgeable in well stimulation practices including acid and fracture stimulation treatments
Fundamental knowledge in the use of MS Office products
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully work in a multi-discipline team environment
Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
