The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as part of a high performing, multi-disciplinary subsurface team on some technically complex assets.
Responsibilities will include;
Generation of static models that provide a robust representation of the reservoir facies and fluid property distribution that are fit for purpose for a dynamic model simulation
Providing production and development related geological input into reservoir management and on-going field development activities
Proposing wells or recompletions, as required, to meet production forecasts and/or reserves maturation plans
Providing geological framework of the reservoir
Working with other disciplines to build or augment existing static reservoir descriptions to predict field production behaviour
Using, or building and evaluating, geocellular models
Documenting geological work and maintaining effective and accurate models and datasets
Suitable candidates will have;
Tertiary qualification in Geoscience
At least 8 years of petroleum industry experience
General field production, development & drilling and reservoir modelling experience
Experience in producing and modelling tight-gas reservoirs
Strong capability in reservoir modelling and conditioning of the models with 3D seismic outputs
