Primary Purpose of PositionReporting to the Manager, Production Engineering, this position is responsible for providing expertise for optimizing production operations within Sinopec Canada. This will include significant involvement in monitoring well production, well and facility operating costs, assisting with facility optimization operations in collaboration with the Production Superintendent, Field Production Foreman, Area Operators, Exploitation Engineers, Completions Group and Facilities Engineers.Roles and Responsibilities are as follows but are not limited to: Well and facility production optimization and development/execution of operating cost initiatives;Oversee all Artificial Lift (beam pump, electrical submersible pump, plunger lift, gas lift, and jet pump) performance and making recommendations for improved performance efficiency;Coordinate and scheduling regular area review meetings with Field Operations/Engineering/Facility teams;Budgeting for production, operating costs, and capital maintenance;Coordinating new tie-ins with Field/Completions/Facilities/Third Parties;Assist with production and financial audits;Work with production accounting to ensure allocations are correct;Maintain PVR to represent area well production reporting;Work with Joint Venture team and third party processors on operations related agreements (processing, gathering, compression) and other Joint Venture related issues;Work with partners on operated and non-operated projects;Maintain AER regulatory compliance and address all regulatory issues.Qualifications and Requirements: C.E.T (ASET) member in good standingA minimum of five 5 years of Oil and Gas related experienceExperience in sweet and sour oil and gas facility operations that includes: oil treating, vapor recovery, separation, measurement, dehydration and compression are required;Experience in sweet and sour oil and gas well operations that includes a working knowledge of all types of artificial lift design and installation;Measurement, SCADA and PVR expertise is required;Effective oral and written communication skills;Strong demonstrated skills in organization and analytical skills;Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.Come work with us!If you are looking for meaningful new challenges and have a solutions-oriented attitude, we want to hear from you.
