Production Engineer / Technologist (2 positions)

Seven Generations is seeking a candidate for the following position in its Grande Prairie office:
Production Engineer / Technologist (5-10 + years’ of experience)
Description of Responsibilities:
The role of the Production Engineer/Technologist will work amongst the Production, Operations, Facilities, and Completions teams to perform fundamental modelling on the unconventional Montney reservoir. Positioned in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and reporting to Manager of Production Engineering, the successful candidate will be part of the fast-paced and dynamic Production Engineering team at Seven Generations Energy. The Production Engineer/Technologist will be responsible for the safe production and optimization of wells within Seven Generations Kakwa River Project.
Accountabilities:
Review well production data via SCADA, Field Data Capture Systems and database interfaces
Review operating expenditures, revenues and netbacks by well
Routine review and modelling of individual well performance
Routine review and modelling of artificial lift systems; gas lift, rod pump, ESP, plunger lift
Routine visits to field during normal operations and execution of projects
Economic evaluation and execution of projects; production uplift, operational expenditure (OPEX) reduction
Production and variance forecasting
Participate in multi-disciplinary well and infrastructure development planning
Communicate daily with field operations to discuss downtime, variances from production forecasts, field and facility utilization and optimization
Communicate daily with operations engineers to discuss field and facility utilization and optimization
Communicate with completions engineers to discuss new well timing and well performance
Generate production budget for area of responsibility
Generate well workover OPEX budget and capital budget for area of responsibility
Qualifications
A professional Engineer/Technologist with 5-10+ years of oil and gas experience who is a current member of their respective professional association (APEGA/ASET)
Preferred Skills
Possess knowledge, experience and required skills to safely and effectively conduct workover projects
Specific experience with service rig, wireline, stimulation, artificial lift and coil tubing operations
Demonstrated support of a consultative approach with members of the production team
Support and initiate innovation
Demonstrates initiative in problem solving
Communicates well with internal groups to derive key drivers as a foundation for projects
Competency in software implementation and network integration of multiple data streams such as: Wellview, ProdView, AccuMap, AFENavigator, ADP Open Invoice, ParcView, SpotFire, Wellflo, S-Rod, ESI, Total Well Management (TWM), Excel
