(“LTA”) is a private junior E&P; company with its head office located in Airdrie, Alberta and operations focused in the Claresholm and High River areas of Alberta. LTA has both office and field employees and currently produces approximately 1,600 boe/d of natural gas and natural gas liquids. LTA has been in operations since 2012, has a strong balance sheet, and is looking to expand in its core areas through additional acquisitions, recompletions and infill opportunities on existing lands. LTA owns and operates two gas plants in the Claresholm area and is set to double its operations in 2019 as we reactivate a recently acquired gas field in the High River Area.We are currently seeking an experienced Production Engineer Manager with strong technical skills and aptitude coupled with a passion for optimizing field operations, economics and well performance in a small company environment. Exceptional leadership and communication skills with field staff and within the office environment are a must. This exciting full-time, permanent position is based in Airdrie, Alberta and reports directly to the President.Key Responsibilities: Coordinating, mentoring and providing guidance to the field operations team in field development, cost control and production optimization activities.Working seamlessly and maintaining effective communication within a multi-disciplinary office team to help define and execute the corporate business plan.Responsible for a wide range of activities including field operations, reserve reporting, economic evaluations, production forecasting and management reporting.Qualifications: 10+ years of Western Canadian oil and gas experience with technical expertise in maximizing the economic operations of mature, conventional, long life, low decline, liquid-rich gas fields.Engineering degree is required.Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills are essential.Ability to balance multiple priorities.Very strong team player.Well-rounded exploitation and production experience, including but not limited to:Experience working within multidisciplinary teams in a small company environmentExperience coordinating, mentoring and providing guidance to the field operations teamProject initiation and management skills including wellsite equipping and reactivation, tie-ins and pipelining and participation in facility designA&D; assessment and analysis experienceProduction forecasting & economics experienceFundamental reservoir engineering skillsGood business aptitude and acumenExceptional communication skills both verbal and writtenStrong computer skills, experience with the following programs are an asset: Production Manager, Accumap, ValNav and Microsoft OfficeLTA offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, a broad benefits package, access to a company vehicle, and health spending and wellness program.LTA thanks all applicants for their interest however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.Job Type: Full-time
