Job description ExxonMobil is recruiting for an experienced Production Engineer with the role to consist of the following responsibilities:
Maximize production and optimize fluid flow from reservoir through facilities to sales point, across functional boundaries
Responsible for production constraint mapping, oversight of wellbore hydraulic models and oversight of annual reservoir pressure analysis
Lead evaluation and prioritization of well work opportunities
Coordinate well start-ups with Operations, Facilities, Reservoir, and Subsurface Engineering
Monitor field performance and identify opportunities for improvement (e.g., uptime, production optimization, debottlenecking, safety/environmental system performance, unit cost management, equipment utilization)
Conduct economic and business assessments on identified opportunities
Facilitate the advancement of improvement opportunities from idea generation through implementation including: technical/business evaluation, economic assessments, MOC, design basis/requirements, conceptual approvals, funding, and execution planning
Engage with Operations and Maintenance teams to identify facility constraints or production uplift opportunities
BSc or Bachelors in engineering
5-10 years of experience through multiple function and project assignments in reservoir, facilities, and subsurface engineering, or comparable experience in other functions/companies
Broad range of experience and skills through multiple production assignments
Broad knowledge of industry standards, specifications, and work processes
Strong leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational, coordination, planning, and interface skills
Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
Excellent communication skills
