The Production Engineer is a member of a cross-functional asset team based at the corporate office in Plano, Texas.
Work within a multi-disciplinary team to maximize the value of assets
Prepare and manage well completion/workover programs in primary/secondary/tertiary operating environments
Monitor production/injection well performance and conduct reservoir surveillance to develop action plans
Design, construct and modify production facilities and infrastructure
Prepare field development plans and capital budgets
Implement and manage multi step projects while reporting results to management
Assist in preparing the lease operating budget and monitor results
Identify and implement production optimization and cost reduction
All other duties as assigned
BS in Engineering with a preference in Petroleum Engineering
Minimum of 2 years of relevant oil and gas experience
Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Willing to travel as needed for job requirements
Demonstrate Health, Safety and Environmental awareness
Ability to prioritize work and focus efforts to deliver value
Ability to handle multiple projects with minimal supervision against assigned deadlines
Cultivate relationships and work directly with all levels of personnel from field operations to top management
ENVIRONMENTAL & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work will primarily be conducted in an office environment; travel may be required to district and field offices and/or oil and gas production facilities, with the occasional need to wear personal protective equipment. Position requires the ability to frequently communicate information and to manage the possible stress of an office environment. Work may include being stationary for long periods of time, with occasional movement about the office. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds is required. Position requires constant operation and viewing of a computer screen and other office machinery.
