Salary: £26,000 to 28,000 per annum, dependent on experience
About the role:
Oxford Flow now seeks a Production Technician joining the company’s production and assembly team and will both support and be responsible for certain areas involving purchasing, suppliers and manufacturing.
Day-to-day, the work will involve adhering to quality procedures, supporting supply chain management and procurement, stock accountability, supporting product assembly and ensuring a safe and tidy workshop environment.
Delivering production quality and managing / amending QA proceduresManaging product returns and supporting organising non-compliance investigationsSupporting production planning and investigationsMaintaining our Improvement Log; Raising POs & general purchases; Tracking orders & managing delivery and goods in; Collecting invoicesResponsible for stock, including components stock control and final product levelsManaging parts obsolescence, quarantine process and stock take preparationR&D; test rig and testing supportWith assembly, raising and keeping Works Orders up to date throughout productionSupporting Final Verification activity including Factory Acceptance Testing and carrying out pressure testing and the reportingSupporting Assembly staff with packaging and shipping activity, maintaining packaging material stock levels
Hold a Level 4 / HND engineering qualification or equivalent experienceUnderstand mechanical production processes and quality managementHave knowledge of engineering workshop practices to ensure a safe working environmentBe comfortable managing relationships with our suppliers to ensure the correct and timely delivery of componentsBe willing to tackle engineering challenges typically encountered in a developing manufacturing environment with enthusiasm
