We are now looking for Production Engineer to strengthen our organization to support development of our oil discovery offshore Ghana.

Responsibilities and tasks:

Project phase:
Participate in design and construction phase of production system with special attention to process related analysis and design information by selected suppliers based on Aker Energy standards and specification
Carry out process design work and related activities as assigned in project
Operations phase:
Monitor FPSO supplier management of process operation and optimisation through regular meetings and audits
Identify solutions using Root cause analysis to technical problems encountered during operations which cannot be readily resolved by the operations team on board
Together with Maintenance department, prepare and manage planning minimum shut down maintenance (budget, manning, materials, etc.)
Assist in the preparation and development of operating budget and investment plans
Monitor and track production volumes, production Budgets and KPIs
Communicate with reservoir engineers about reservoir management requirements
Create detailed instructions and procedures for the offshore production team
Key responsibilities and tasks:
Carry out process design work and related activities as assigned in project
Supervise the work of subcontractors and subordinates as assigned in accordance with the Project organization
Assist other disciplines in accordance with Project requirements
Participate in design review meetings in accordance with Project requirements
Contribute to the process simulation and process documents delivery (PFDs, P&IDs, equipment list, safety logic diagrams, studies reports)
Contributing to the technical specifications writing

Qualifications / Personal Attributes:
Bachelors or Master's degree in Process / Chemical Engineering or other relevant major
Long relevant experience may compensate lack of formal education with relevant experience
Experience in operation of offshore assets in Ultra deep waters
Experience in the use of Subsea Multiphase pumps as artificial lift
Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred
Proven ability to coordinate production teams
Experience in developing PFD's, P&ID's, MSD's and process equipment datasheets
Strong experience in Process Simulation (HYSIS / ASPEN / PROII)
HAZOP / SIL experience (chairman or attendee)
Process control capability beneficial e.g. Process Control Philosophy, Cause and Effects, etc.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills
