The ‘get it done’ team spirit and ambitious objectives will provide exciting growth and development opportunities for the right candidate.We are now looking for Production Engineer to strengthen our organization to support development of our oil discovery offshore Ghana.Responsibilities and tasks:Project phase:Participate in design and construction phase of production system with special attention to process related analysis and design information by selected suppliers based on Aker Energy standards and specificationCarry out process design work and related activities as assigned in projectOperations phase:Monitor FPSO supplier management of process operation and optimisation through regular meetings and auditsIdentify solutions using Root cause analysis to technical problems encountered during operations which cannot be readily resolved by the operations team on boardTogether with Maintenance department, prepare and manage planning minimum shut down maintenance (budget, manning, materials, etc.)Assist in the preparation and development of operating budget and investment plansMonitor and track production volumes, production Budgets and KPIsCommunicate with reservoir engineers about reservoir management requirementsCreate detailed instructions and procedures for the offshore production teamKey responsibilities and tasks:Carry out process design work and related activities as assigned in projectSupervise the work of subcontractors and subordinates as assigned in accordance with the Project organizationAssist other disciplines in accordance with Project requirementsParticipate in design review meetings in accordance with Project requirementsContribute to the process simulation and process documents delivery (PFDs, P&IDs;, equipment list, safety logic diagrams, studies reports)Contributing to the technical specifications writingQualifications / Personal Attributes:Bachelors or Master's degree in Process / Chemical Engineering or other relevant majorLong relevant experience may compensate lack of formal education with relevant experienceExperience in operation of offshore assets in Ultra deep watersExperience in the use of Subsea Multiphase pumps as artificial liftExperience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferredProven ability to coordinate production teamsExperience in developing PFD's, P&ID;'s, MSD's and process equipment datasheetsStrong experience in Process Simulation (HYSIS / ASPEN / PROII)HAZOP / SIL experience (chairman or attendee)Process control capability beneficial e.g. Process Control Philosophy, Cause and Effects, etc.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skillsWe Offer:We offer opportunities to learn and challenge yourself or mentor othersFlexible employee package that can be adjusted to suit the changing needs of your lifeCompetitive compensation programContact Information:If any questions about the role, please contact, Knut Eirik Hesla, Senior Recruiter, NES Advantage Solutions, E-mail: Knut.Eirik.Hesla@nesgt.comNES Advantage Solutions is Aker Energy’s recruitment partner.Please apply online
