Seeking Production Engineer: will be working with field staff on the design and implementation of various artificial lift methods and well interventions in order to optimize production. The successful candidate will work as a task or team leader on assignments that require a broad knowledge of engineering under general supervision and guidance from management.Key AccountabilitiesProficient in Rod Pump design and optimizationGas well Plunger lift working knowledge, gas lift working knowledgeProvide production, pressure, lift characteristics data necessary; forecastingWorking knowledge of gas compression and gatheringWorking knowledge of oil and gas facilities including SWD and water handlingComplete all mandatory training as assigned, including the required HSE training, in compliance with corporate and business unit guidelines. Maintain an acceptable HSE recordCan design and supervise well interventions, along with new well stimulation as needed with some guidanceBe proficient with workover operations including fishing and cased hole wireline operationsProficient with typical production data systemsExceptional time management and prioritization skillsDemonstrated ability to think analytically and solve complex problemsWork in Multi-disciplinary team to define objectives and operational guidelines for defining a cross domains solutionEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree from an accredited University in Engineering or related field required.Complexity and scope involving knowledge and skills acquired through prior relevant work experience in oil and gas producing basins. Personal capacities will determine the experience level needed.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesWork independently and collaboratively within a team environment to produce results.Positive attitude and support for company culture and goals.Time management and prioritization skillsStrong computer skills (office, excel, peloton suite)Solid communication skills, both verbally and in writing.Efficiently manage multiple, competing priorities.Some field travel requiredEnglish a must / Spanish a plusCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary depending on experience.
