Production Engineer
New opportunity for a Production Engineer to join a leading E&P; Operator in the UAE. This is a permanent staff position, working in the Dubai office, supporting offshore production operations.
As an experienced Production Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Completing the daily/weekly/monthly production reports, including publishing weekly Short Term Production Forecasts,
Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the production data contained in the company databases, and ensuring its accessibility,
Well performance surveillance and optimization activities,
Production facilities surveillance,
Provide wellsite operations support,
Identify and minimise production losses (with the well operations and engineering support),
Suggest data gathering plans, develop implementation programs and QA/QC follow up,
Work closely with commercial/tendering teams for production engineering services or products.

We are looking for you to be an experienced Production Engineer, with a minimum of 3 years' experience working for a major Oil & Gas Operating company.
You should have had substantial experience of ESP operations in:

ESP and Subsurface Equipment Design and troubleshooting,
Contractor management, including contracts, tenders and contract management,
ESP operations including work over operations (design and program prep), evaluation of new technologies, ESP reliability tracking and teardown and dismantle reports. reporting on offshore fields, identifying and proposing well performance enhancement opportunities, and be able to identify and propose opportunities to reduce facilities bottlenecks to maximise oil production, gas lift compression and water injection pumping performance.

When required you will be expected to provide wellsite support for key well intervention activities and expect you to have prior experience of this in offshore fields.
In addition to the above you should have strong knowledge and experience on production engineering software (such as OFM, IPM PETEX, WellFlo, i-DO, ReO) well as excellent Excel, presentation and report writing skills.
