We are dedicated to developing our natural resources in a cost effective and environmentally conscious way.We are currently looking for a talented individual to provide direct engineering oversight to production variances, well optimization, artificial lift design/optimization, downhole well workovers, and capital/LOE expenditures. In addition, you will use engineering expertise to optimize production and generate maximum cash flow, while maintaining all company safety and environmental standards.Responsibilities include: Responsible for production surveillance by reviewing anomalies in production using available tools such as Cygnet (SCADA), etc.Creates initial production forecasts and economic evaluation summaries.Interpret production data and make recommendations based on the analysis; implement and coordinate production enhancement projects.Prepare recommendations, procedures, economics, and AFEs for recompletions and workovers to optimize well performance.Conduct detailed well reviews and failure tracking to improve artificial lift run time, track and report downtime and its root causes.Meet with vendors regularly. Research new technology, re-bid and re-negotiate existing pricing arrangements.Provide engineering support to various other departments in regard to economic evaluations and reserves/production data.Optimize fluid management and make recommendations to improve artificial lift.Work closely with field personnel to recommend ideas to maximize profits by increasing production and lowering costsDeveloping well data/statistics spreadsheets for development review and regulatory reports.Assists in the development of short and long-range plans; gathers, interprets, and prepares data for studies, reports, and recommendations.Attends internal staff meetings, engineering/operations meetings, management team meetings etc.Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Petroleum Engineering.Minimum 5 years relevant experiencePreferred experience in a managerial roleDemonstrated experience in artificial lift systems, well completion, remedial well work and related field experiencePreferred experience with detailed acquisitions and divestiture economic evaluationsDemonstrated experience working with and leading field level management and support personnelSpotfire or similar data analytics software experience preferred, data management skills with sequel server & access databases a plusExcellent computer skills are required, specific proficiency in the following applications:– Required: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).– Preferred: PhdWin, Cygnet, Merrick, Spotfire, databases.Must be innovative and positive in dealing with changes and reacting to project difficultiesGood interpersonal and collaboration skills are required:– Must be a team player with proven communication skills, capable of working effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.– Maintains effective working relationships with staff, management, vendors, etc.We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package along with a small feel company culture.
