We are looking for Production Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK or Houston, TX. You will be responsible for evaluating well performance and building operations and systems to improve our production while minimizing HSE incidents and well lifecycle costs. You will be accountable for all operational engineering activity for assigned wells, with strong emphasis on optimization of artificial lift systems, including root cause failure analysis across surface and downhole systems. You will be expected to be 25% in the field to support intervention rig work and collaborate with field personnel and key vendors to understand operational activities, risks and opportunities for improvement regarding well intervention needs.
- Support HSE initiatives, promote and confirm use of standard procedures, participate in safety reviews and develop solutions to reduce near miss and incident rates for strong HSE culture- Analysis of performance of production systems, including equipment reliability, system deferment, scaling tendencies across field, corrosion patterns- Develop and implement artificial lift installations (e.g. rod pumps, ESPs, gas lift, plunger, and artificial lift optimization tools) to optimize well performance- Analyze failure, reliability, and lifecycle performance of artificial lift types to establish data motivated basis of design for each well type- Analyze performance of Woodford horizontal wells to optimize production including solutions for lateral plugging- Understand daily/weekly/monthly trends of safety/health/environmental incidents, production numbers, and OPEX costs and lead initiatives to improve performance including root cause failure analysis, cost modeling, and deferment reduction programs- Actively participate in multi-functional problem solving to drive cycle time reduction, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve production
- BS in Engineering with 8 years of Oil & Gas experience

- Strong background in field operations including workover operations and artificial lift management- Proven track record of delivering results: disciplined, willing to take action, strong business insight, and experience at inspiring change- Experience with cost modeling, economic analysis, systems optimization, root cause analysis - Proven track record of multi-disciplinary initiatives
