ContractOur client is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Production Engineer, based in Aberdeen
Responsibilities will include:
Identification and planning of more complex well intervention, stimulation and maintenance activities.
Participate in Safety Critical Element Risk Analysis process for wells and drive actions to reduce the risk profile of the asset
Surveillance of well barriers to ensure compliance with well mechanical and operating integrity guidelines and limits.
Short term production surveillance and optimisation and engineering support of assigned wells and cover for other engineers as required
Well inflow / outflow assurance (e.g., nodal and back pressure analysis)
Participate in well reviews
Participate in partner forums
Operating cost and profitability tracking
Participate in industry and internal Networks of Excellence as appropriate
Broad understanding of production/ petroleum engineering including artificial lift, well intervention well integrity, completions and remedial workovers
Excellent technical and organisational skills
Exposure to offshore operations
Previous experience working in production/petroleum engineering.
Understanding of process facilities and gas gathering systems
Exposure to Reservoir Engineering
BSc in Engineering
MSc in Petroleum Engineering
