Position Summary:

Monitors and evaluates well systems to maximize the production and operation of oil and gas products. Assures that producing properties operate at a maximum economic rate and comply with governmental and contractual requirements. Incumbent works under limited supervision and demonstrates understanding of project scope and logic, including economics.
Job Duties:

• Identify and implement opportunities to improve production through optimization and stimulation of wells

• Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction, help support technical excellence of the operating staff and field operating personnel

• Provide well allocation equations and well target guidelines based on MPFM tests and voidage replacement factors

• Provide support to field well operations personnel in the management of the field and identify wells not meeting target or with problems

• Prepare well workover and completion procedures

• Coordinate & supervise production, drilling, pump installations, and workovers with Asset and/or Operations Manager
Qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. degree in an Engineering field

• At least six years of industry experience

• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and procedures associated with facilities

• Must be willing to travel Job/Office Conditions:

• Must be comfortable in various work settings including office, field, plant, and pipeline facilities

o Indoor/Outdoor environments

o Computer work is required

o Light Travel
Safety Concerns:

• Must be familiar with the safety procedures at each different facility

• H2S training
