Job Summary:
SilverBow Resources is looking for a Production Engineer II to oversee, analyze, and monitor daily oil and gas production operations including completions and production enhancement operations to ensure maximum productivity and profitability. Additional responsibilities will be to continuously improve programs, processes, and relationships.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and review well performance in order to optimize oil and gas production and troubleshoot problem wells
Utilize well developed project management skills to design, implement and maintain new well completions, recompletions, artificial lift, production facilities, etc. at optimum levels
Monitor equipment and well performance for efficiency, maintenance, repair or change
Prepare AFE and economic justifications for capital and expense projects, and work together with field supervisor and Asset Teams to insure proper implementation
Coordinate with Operations personnel on field operations and activities
Monitor and control Capital and LOE spending to maximize profit and loss potential
Review and approve vendor invoices for goods and services
Help insure regulatory compliance, and represent the company at regulatory hearing or industry meetings
Assist other company departments by providing engineering expertise for various special projects such as field studies, acquisitions, joint ventures, specialized reporting, forecasting, etc.
Provide engineering support to field personnel
Skills:
General working knowledge of principles, concepts, theories, and/or practices of applicable discipline
Self-starter with proven analytical skills
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Proven history of multi-faceted problem
Ability to learn and apply required systems and software applications
Ability to make effective technical presentations
Understanding of budget process, risk analysis, and problem solving
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline
0 - 14 years of experience
