Responsible for well life cycle chemical application and expertise. Optimizes chemical programs to positively impact production capital and expense budget Plays a key role in developing, implementing and managing Noble Energy’s chemical program protocols.
Under general supervision, performs all aspects of work applying new information and concepts.
Assists in developing recommendations for more difficult and complex issues.
Assists in the management of production operations by setting and maintaining production goals in assigned area of operations, including drilling, facility design and maintenance, water flood design, and production equipment design.
Provides post appraisals and look backs for work completed and applies lessons learned accordingly.
Monitors the economic recovery during the reservoir development and production stages through well placement, secondary recovery designs and day-to-day production engineering on operated fields.
Designs, prepares and may perform workovers and other production optimization and enhancement procedures.
Prepares AFEs for projects.
Is responsible for budgeting well placement, reservoir development, reserves additions, and completion decisions.
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline
Typically requires 1 years of related experience.
Working knowledge of electrical area classification
Background with paraffin mitigation
Working knowledge with the mechanics of corrosion
Experience with MIC
Normal office environment with frequent travel to field operations.
