Description

Our client is a privately held EP operator with emphasis on enhanced oil recovery with producing assets and infrastructure in TX Panhandle northern OK.

Production Engineer I

Manage an assigned production operations area

Lead and direct field operations along surveillance team to optimize base production and identify profitable uplift opportunities.
Analyze well failures and make recommendations for improved reliability
Provide technical support to field operations.
Create cost estimates and AFEs for workovers, recompletions, and well maintenance operations
Develop detailed well work procedures, including economic justification for work
Coordinate with wellsite supervisors to execute workover procedures
Demonstrate a recognized proficiency in the design and analysis of artificial lift systems, including rod pump, ESPs and other systems.
Generate cost estimates working with reservoir engineers in developing capital programs
Track, monitor and adjust capital spending to insure compliance with capital budgets
Build and manage LOE budget for area
Identify LOE spending trends and implement cost improvement strategies
Manage and optimize chemical program for assigned area
Coordinate and insure regulatory compliance

Additional Qualifications:

BS in Petroleum Engineering preferred other engineering discipline with experience
Minimum 3 years hands-on experience as production/operations engineer working with conventional, mature producing properties with expertise in artificial lift technology
Proficient in multiple oil and gas software applications required to optimize production in assets as described above
