Halliburton Consulting seeks an experienced Production Engineer who is capable of independently leading a petro-technical project. In this role, the incumbent will be accountable for the use of best-practice mature fields work processes, project, quality and commercial management. The incumbent also will be expected to demonstrate a balance of business acumen coupled with technical expertise, where he/she will be expected to lead or contribute to one to three production-based and/or well intervention projects at any given time.

A mid-career petroleum engineer with broad based experience in all aspects of upstream production operations which include:
Possess a strong background in production optimization, debottlenecking, well completions, stimulation and artificial lift
Reservoir engineering analysis and understanding of geology to rapidly review field data to identify opportunities to enhance production
Well versed in standard production and reservoir engineering software and well log interpretation

Skills/Experience Required
Master of Science degree in petroleum engineering, preferred
Ten-plus years of experience in the design and implementation production engineering and well intervention projects
Must possess excellent communication and written skills
Previous experience with an E&P; operator or equivalent petro-technical consulting organization

Specific Job Skills: Incumbent must demonstrate and perform:
Capable of providing subject matter expertise regarding advanced well completion techniques
Demonstrated track record modeling production forecasts for well intervention techniques
Able to independently run well nodal analysis
Demonstrated track record of water and gas conformance techniques
Proficient in sand control and sand management techniques
Proficient in generating artificial lift diagnosis and solutions
Proficiency in surface facility debottlenecking a plus
Skills are typically acquired through completion of a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree Halliburton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
