Provides engineering expertise to assigned oil and gas assets in order to optimize production and generate maximum cash flow, while maintaining all company safety and environmental standards.
Responsible for production surveillance by reviewing anomalies in production using available tools such as Cygnet, Orifice Charts, and Decline Curves.
Implement and coordinate production enhancement tools including the use of a Well Analyzer, Swab Schedules, Production Route Reviews, etc.
Prepare recommendations, procedures, economics, and AFEs for recompletions and workovers in order to optimize well performance.
Optimize fluid management and make recommendations to improve artificial lift.
Work closely with field personnel to recommend ideas to maximize profits by increasing production and lowering costs
Required Experience, Skills and Education:
8+ years of production engineering experience required
Demonstrated knowledge of oil and gas production with a working knowledge of facilities
Demonstrated experience in artificial lift systems, well completion, remedial well work and related field experience
Demonstrated experience working with/leading field personnel
Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering
Will consider other engineering disciplines depending on experience
