The successful candidate will participate primarily as a production engineer within the Production Delivery team supporting a new drilling campaign and other large projects.
In addition, the role will assist in providing functional excellence across UK assets and stewardship of the Production Engineering discipline.

Key Accountabilities and End Results:
Operations assurance for new well planning and start up.
Identification, evaluation and execution of projects to enhance production.
Delivery of base production budget.
Well operating integrity.
Support offshore operations as required.

Primary Functions & Dimensions:
Identification and planning of well intervention, stimulation and maintenance activities.
Work with well planning teams in an operations assurance capacity to ensure new wells are designed accounting for full life cycle operations.
Support start-up of new wells.
Well inflow/ outflow assurance (e.g., nodal and back pressure analysis).
Engineering support for well issues.
Supporting production surveillance.
Operating cost and profitability tracking.
Loss production tracking and participation in defect elimination process.
Participation in well reviews.
Participate in partner forums.
Active mentorship of Production Engineers of all levels in the Production Delivery organisation.
Collaborate with Production Delivery, Subsurface, Well Ops and Operations leadership to drive continuous improvement of the Production Delivery process.

BSc in Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.

Preferred Requirements:
10+ years of experience working in production/petroleum engineering.

Offshore Installation Managers, Supervisors and Control Room Operators.
Well operations incl Drilling & Completions.
Subsurface Team.
Engineering, Maintenance and Reliability Teams.
