This role will serve as a Product Champion to the Wireline Open Hole Formation Evaluation (OH-FE) Product Line. Reporting to the Global Product Line Manager for OH-FE, the Product Champion will assist in serving as a functional liaison between Sales & Operations, R&E;, and the Product Line with respect to new and existing products and services.
Advises Sales & Operations personnel on technical aspects that involves product applications.
Coordinates with the Product Line, Sales & Operations, and R&E; during the product development process to ensure that new products meet internal and external requirements.
Supports Regions planning and successfully executing critical jobs.
Supports SMEs in matters related to mineralogy & geology services (e.g. pulsed neutron generator (PNG) based services, and acoustic/micro-resistivity imaging services). Assisting field operations, HTC and product line teams in complex technical questions that may require product modifications.
Maximizes capital efficiency of deployed assets by supporting the global assets and materials team.
Collaborates with the global and regional GPE teams to improve mineralogy & geology answer products.
Works with WS engineering team to implement continuous improvement solutions that will improve the product portfolio value.
Assists in each step of new technology development.
Creates the content necessary for the Training Department to produce Self-Study Guides, Practical Exercises, and Product Knowledge Training.
Coordinates and manages the field testing of new products under development.
Authors technical papers with subject matter experts and client representatives.
Handles special projects, as assigned.
Engineering or Geology Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
BHGE - Wireline Field Engineer experience with advanced open hole services (PNG based services, and acoustic/micro-resistivity imaging services).
Ability to solve substantially difficult problems of complex nature and broad scope.
Ability to create innovative approaches to problems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Must be a team player.
Excellent leadership skills.
Master's Degree in a related field preferred.
5+ years’ experience in related field.
20% national and international travel.
