Opportunity for a skilled Principle Reservoir Engineer to join a leading Oil & Gas company on a permanent basis in the Persian Gulf Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing reservoir engineering principles, optimizing reservoir performance and supporting economic field development.

Key responsibilities will include:
*Takes a lead in the layout, application and control of waterflood, steam injection pilots and other EOR processes
*Establishes waterflood prediction techniques to aid in evaluation of waterflood performance behavior
*Forms, implements and supports operations with reservoir development and WF plans to maximize reservoir value
*Gives advice on implementing new WF projects and expanding existing projects
*Defines, takes part and helps drilling/workover/conversion projects utilizing reservoir control processes
*Carries out plan with Geologist and Geophysicist for data acquisition needed for reservoir studies, (including project plans and cost estimates; ensures plan is monitored and executed
*Engaged on Post-Assessment of development projects and secures learning's are implemented in future Reservoir Management
*Sets up and organises WF reservoir surveillance and key data gathering with Production Engineering
*Develops and reviews annual reservoir production targets. Recognizes deficits and excesses and organises action plans, as needed, to rebuild production levels
*Monitor & inspect well and overall reservoir performance. Builds up life of field depletion plans with strict guidelines regarding the rate of fluid movement in the reservoir.
*Gives reservoir engineering support for a multi discipline integrated RMT
*Engages in business unit and corporate knowledge sharing tools
*Cooperates with Subsurface study team in guiding and securing objectives are met

The ideal candidate will have:
*Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering
*Proven success defining and executing value-added projects; demonstrated leadership of projects
*Knowledge of reservoir engineering concepts and tools
* Work with Enhanced Oil Recovery desired, background in Material Balance, Analysis of SCAL & PCT, PTA
*Highly skilled in waterflood management concepts
*Knowledge of economic evaluation and business financial metrics
*Knowledge of key geologic, geophysical and petrophysical concepts and alignment with RE concepts
*Experience in developing surveillance plans
*A proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
