Our Client, one of the top Operators in Oil & Gas Industry is on the lookout for a Principal Seismic Interpreter to join their expanding team in Kuala Lumpur.
Provide seismic PP/PS volumes and potentially new seismic inversion volumes
Assist project in reservoir mapping, Phase 2 well planning, shallow hazard assessment, static model updates
Renew the full-field seismic structural and stratigraphic interpretation
Provide structural framework model geomodel update
Assess and deliver lithology prediction
In-charge of seismic input and studies
Deliver well plans and final well proposals
Work closely with reservoir, production, drilling and completion engineers in design optimal development drilling program with proper risk assessment and contingency plans
Plan, coordinate and monitor - Execute of special geophysical studies
In-charge for all seismic input to Field Development Planning updates
Responsible for QA/QC of all seismic deliverables delivered by EPE Department
Assist in EPE projects assurance
Representative to Shareholders
Responsible for all seismic work in milestone reviews/Shareholders reviews
Serve as technical support, providing expertise and guidance to assess exploration/upside potential, new opportunities, and way forward strategy
Assist evaluation of exploration as required; evaluation and way forward for Oil opportunity
Assist appraisal opportunities as required; evaluation and way forward for Oil opportunity
Develop a HSE stewardship culture, demonstrating strong HSE awareness while delivering field development
Degree in Geoscience (Hons)
Minimum 15 years hands-on seismic interpretation (field development, appraisal and exploration)
Familiar with Petrel
Experienced in 3D processing and seismic inversion QA/QC
Familiar with S wave data interpretation will be an advantage
Extensive experience in gas and oil field well planning and execution
Experience in Deepwater reservoir will be an advantage.
Proven track record in delivering results
Managing uncertainties and decision risk analysis
Strong networking and communication skills
