We are currently seeking a Principal Reservoir Engineer. This position located in Pittsburgh, PA.
Applies multidisciplinary engineering skills, compliance, knowledge, and project management experience to design engineering research studies, determines the appropriate analysis methods, identifies problems, and develops and implements solutions to complex problems.
Performing assignments related to NRAP, and reservoirs.
Experienced in scientific problem-solving techniques, incorporating quick learning, teamwork and critical thinking
Builds relationships with internal and external clients who have varying backgrounds.
Creates and delivers oral and poster presentations of results
Support various National Risk Assessment Partnerships (NRAP) tool sets such as groundwater risk assessment field validation, containment effectiveness tools and methodologies field validation, induced seismicity tools and methodologies field demonstration, and strategic monitoring tools and methodologies field validation.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
This position requires a Ph.D. in engineering or related science with 5yrs experience.
The candidate must be knowledgeable with regards to reservoir engineering.
Candidates should have strong oral and written communication skills with ability to represent Battelle or its clients at conferences or public forums or contribute to technical reports and scientific journals.

Prior experience working with the NRAP tool sets
