Mariner organization is looking for a Petroleum Engineer to strengthen the Production Technology team within Mariner Petech. Sound experience with operational petroleum engineering, development well planning, production administration, production and injection analysis and optimization, well diagnostics and intervention planning, production and reservoir surveillance are required.
The position is associated with the following key characteristics:
Production engineer in the Mariner PTC team
Huge responsibilities for ensuring maximum production, secure injection and smooth and efficient operations
Cross disciplinary involvement to maximize on subsurface and field potential
Debottlenecking and Increased Oil recovery initiatives
Experienced “multiskilled” Petroleum engineer
Good knowledge of work processes and deliveries within Petech and the area of Production Technology and good overview of similar in areas as Well Technology, Completion, Well Integrity and Process.
The position will call for insight, hands-on with executional capacity to succeed in the following area of competence:
Planning and close follow-up during operations
Well completion, topside and downhole
Data acquisition, during normal operations and interventions
Well test analysis and reporting
Inflow and injection well characteristics, evaluations and stimulation
Water injection management and PWRI
Artificial lift analysis, ESP
Background form ESP installation and operations
Sand control solutions and monitoring
P&I; planning, and activity look-ahead
Production, regularity and activity reporting
Production sampling and lab-analysis
Prepare SOR’s, plan and execute petroleum engineering interventions
Cross disciplinary coordination, within Petech and relevant interphases i.e. Wells Team and Operations
Networking with Disciplinary Lead functions
Evaluate potential IOR initiatives
Handle internal and external projects and studies
Handle relations towards vendors and service companies
Experience with relations towards Authorities/ Regulator
In depth knowledge in Petroleum Engineering software Tool suite for Production Engineers
Onshore position with occasional offshore exposure
Experience with Petroleum/Production Engineering with extensive field operation experience.
Experience from Heavy Oil field is preferred
Understanding risk and risk mitigation
