For the development and extension of new and advanced formation evaluation logging services, we expand our Geoscientific expertise in our Celle Technology Center.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

Interpretation and analysis of downhole fluids
-
Support and assist tool and sensor development for surface and in-situ measurements
-
Identify and propose opportunities for geoscientific applications by integrated log and data interpretation

Closely collaborate (including verbal and written communication) with other Geoscientific groups within our organization such as Marketing and our Geomarkets

Proposition of service deliverables to provide world-class solutions to our customers

Establish and maintain contact to customers
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
-
MSc, Diploma, or PhD in Petrochemistry / Geochemistry / Petroleum Engineering / Geoscience or other related earth science disciplines or applied physics
-
Knowledge of geochemical interactions, preferably specialized in one or a few disciplines close to the Oil and Gas Industry

Ability to interpret geochemical results within a hydrocarbon reservoir context
-
Strong affinity towards technology and sensor utilization and development, application and solution oriented working
-
Familiar with state-of-the-art analytical techniques commonly used for hydrocarbon fluids
-
Ability to work independently but also as part of a multi-disciplinary team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
-
A few years working experience is preferred, ideally within one discipline in the Oil and Gas Industry

Experience with laboratory equipment commonly used for fluid analysis, preferably hydrocarbons
-
Knowledge of numerical processing methods, ideally with programming skills (for example in MATLAB)
-
Understanding of phase diagrams to determine reservoir fluid properties
-
Basic understanding of standard well logging analysis, core analysis, and basic understanding of modern well logging techniques

Your primary location will be Celle, Germany, with willingness to travel required.
