LANDMANREPORTS TO : Land ManagerJOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for maintaining the Company's current leasehold, mineral and fee property ownership. Work with the Drilling and Operations departments to schedule and complete surface and lease obligations to meet drilling schedule. Advise management on various lease payment/obligations, and regulatory matters.Major Functions and Scope: Coordinate oil and gas title work, including abstracting, title curative, and title opinionsEnsure that payment decks are updated and maintained accurately and regularly on the Company’s software platform so that royalties, WI payments and JIBs are issued correctly.Analyze and process Company well proposals and other AFE’s, including forced pooling/spacing notices and ordersAnalyze, confirm and resolve issues regarding the Company’s interests in leasehold, wells and units and the interests of other WI owners and royalty payees.Review title opinions and curative, division orders, JIBs and revenue statements.Maintain all JIB/Revenue information in P2 ExcaliburMaintain and edit leasehold in ESRI.Communicate internally with upper management regarding ongoing projects, timeline, strategy, budget and scope, etc.Assist in pre- and post-acquisition or sale due diligence/title work and curativeMonitor continuous development obligations and HBP status for leases and notify the necessary departments of the Company's obligationsRequired Skills and Experience: Bachelor's Degree requiredRPL preferred but not requiredMinimum of five (5) years in-house Landman experience requiredAbility to effectively communicate information to co-worker’s and management.Ability to work in a fast paced environment independently, and as a team, in coordination with other departments.Ability to work in stressful situations and problem solve quicklyCompetent in P2 Excalibur software, ESRI ArcMap software, joint operating agreements, surface use agreements, Purchase and Sale Agreements, and other associated agreements is requiredJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $75,000.00 to $115,000.00 /yearRequired experience:in-house Landman: 5 yearsRequired education:Bachelor's
