Petro-Hunt, L.L.C, a Dallas, Texas mid-sized independent oil and gas exploration company, is seeking a Petroleum Land Administrator for its Uptown Dallas office.

Job Description

The right candidate will be working in a "Cradle to Grave" office work style and their duties will include, but will not be limited to the following:
Ability to analyze leases with particular emphasis in North Dakota and Louisiana law and minerals.
Responsible for lease and other types of payments.
Create revenue decks.
Work with drilling and division order title opinions and their requirements.
Interact with royalty and working interest owners while handling transfers resulting from deeds, assignments and other title instruments within revenue and joint interest billing decks.
Brief contracts (farmouts, letter agreements, joint operating agreements) understand obligations to partners and drilling responsibilities; prepare assignments.

Requirements
5-7 year experience in a similar role.
Experience in Word and Excel is a must
Have excellent communication skills.
Pays attention to detail.
Have the ability to work well with others - within your department and inter-departmentally
Have the ability to multitask and prioritize a challenging workload.
Exposure to "Excalibur Lease Data System", "NDIC Web Site" and "Louisiana Sonris System" a plus but not a requirement.
