The Role:Minimum 20 years’ relevant working experience in oil and gas industry.. Bachelor or Master Degree in Geoscience (Geology, Geophysics & Physics). Professional qualification or advanced degree will be an added advantage Vast working experience and in-depth technical knowledge on full scale Geological and Geophysical evaluation from basin to prospects. Technical Assurance: Provide G&G assurance for subsurface opportunities at various phase of explorations (Block Acquisition, Block Evaluation, Well Proposal and post drill analysis) Key team member of Exploration Technical Assurance team, sanctioning the subsurface opportunities in various technical review sessions. Consultancy: Provide technical guidance and advice in area of specialisation (e.g. technical support in trouble shooting, problem diagnostics, technical audits &, project risk assessment, etc). Provide technical solutions to specific issues / potential problems (e.g reliability/integrity improvement, bad actor resolution, etc). Responsible and accountable for consultancy at OPU, group wide and industry level. Holds positions in professional bodies / external committees and contribute to higher learning positions. Technical Leadership: Develop technology strategy and roadmap and tracking of its implementation Responsible and accountable for technical aspects of project and improvement initiatives Provide leadership in driving and monitoring technical implementation of operational/engineering improvement initiatives/best practices and capturing lesson learnt Accountable and responsible for technical leadership at OPU, group wide and industry Technical Talent Development: Drive in develop/review/enhance technical capability development tools Identify and drive development of new training requirements and modules Act as a resource and a mentor, and identifies potential talents group wide.
