The Engineer will conduct engineering review of new mineral acquisitions, maintain a database of existing acquisitions, will perform due diligence, assist in investment recommendations and assist in closing transactions.SPECIFIC DUTIES**Review the engineering for new and existing mineral rights transactions.Contribute to origination, analysis and selection, due diligence, documentation, closing and monitoring of investments.Perform due diligence and engineering analysis.Develop reporting tools for existing deals.Monitor portfolio of investments by maintaining engineering models, reviewing production and operating reports and researching industry materials.Prepare reports and participate in regular portfolio reviews.Develop investment recommendations and present to senior management.Create and maintain all backup data.Organize and attend meetings with sponsors, bankers and consultants.Other duties as assigned by upper management.EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**Bachelor’s Engineering degree.2 to 5 years engineering experience in O&G; industry.Proficiency with economic programs (ARIES required) and databases.GIS Software experience preferred.Strong analytical, quantitative skills and financial modeling skills.Solid Excel and Word skills.Self-starter and team playerBENEFITSHealth Care Insurance401K match 4% vests immediatelyDental & Vision insurance for employeeCompany paid cellphoneEmployer paid parkingAnnual year end bonus based on company and employee performanceLunch allowance of up to $200/month expensed on your company credit cardFlexible work schedule / vacation schedule.Please include this information on your cover letterYou will be required to answer the following questions when applying to this jobBachelor's Degree in Engineering?
