Position Description
We are seeking experienced Petroleum Engineers to work in the Oil/Gas Production Engineering Divisions under Southern Area Production Engineering Department (SAPED).

As a key member of the oil and gas engineering team, the engineer will provide technical support relating to all aspects of oil and gas well activities in actively expanding oil and gas programs, including: well completions, safe operations, production surveillance/optimization, well intervention, and application of new technologies.
Minimum Requirements
The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering.
Must have a minimum of 8 years’ experience as a production engineer in the upstream oil and gas industry.
Must have experience in electric submersible pump design, installation and troubleshooting .
Should be familiar PE software applications, including flow simulation, tubing movement, nodal analysis, buildup and fall off analysis, PTA and production surveillance.
Should have well integrity diagnoses experience including corrosion logging analysis and interpretations.
Should have stimulation and fracturing treatment experience, oil, water, gas scale prevention and treatment experience.
Must have well interventions design and execution experience for both oil and gas wells.
Duties & Responsibilities

Performs well intervention activities to obtain required well/reservoir performance data.
Perform production optimization activities to ensure reliability and optimum well performance.
Champion new technologies aimed at improving well productivity and streamlining efficiency.
Develop special techniques, procedures, tests and evaluate new technologies to enhance production and safety of wells.
