In-depth understanding of the field, reservoir limits, formulating reservoir development because oil plans.
Follow-up during drilling and completion programs, data acquisition and analysis, strategic surveillance and monitoring to ensure optimal production and depletion strategies.
Provide guidance in best-in-class reservoir management tenets and practices, assessment and implementation of new technologies, and maximize hydrocarbon recovery.
Able to formulate KPis, develop business and operating plans, and accountability reports, and should be able to do this through technical analysis of reservoirs and fields to optimize depletion strategies.
Mentor young professionals in their advanced technical programs.
Able to review and recommend studies and subsequently evaluate them and process their implementation.
Oversee ongoing work and activities and field development and management and recommend best practices.
Scope the undeveloped or underdeveloped reservoirs and provide detailed measures for their development and exploitation.
Requirements & Experience:
Successful candidates shall hold at least a bachelor degree in engineering from a recognized and approved program, preferably in petroleum engineering.
Should have considerable international exposure and knowledge of various hydrocarbon basins and reservoirs, their unique technical challenges, and associated plans and tools used to overcome those challenges.
Should have consulting experience and background in the industry or government regulatory agencies and should have strong technical contributions in the form of technical publications and/or attendances in
conferences, workshops, and forums as a keynote speaker or subject matter expert.
Should be able to provide guidance on best-in-class practices in reservoir management and engineering, well monitoring and surveillance programs, data acquisition, and data analysis.
Candidates must be a team players and should be able to work and produce results in a technically challenging environment.
Must have high level of expertise in the planning, development, and management of non-associate gas reservoirs and should be able to formulate, review, and critique strategic plans for field development using new cutting-edge technologies.
