Kuala LumpurTo provide effective surveillance and reservoir management
capability to Petrofac Malaysia. This will involve monitoring and analysing
day-to-day production performance of the Cendor and West Desaru Fields as well
as long term strategic activities in terms of well placement, production
enhancements and new field assessments.
Works with Project Team to define the life cycle based well completion designs (artificial lift, sand face, upper completion)
with the Project Team for the preparation of the conceptual and detailed well
completion Basis of Designs and Well test Basis of Designs.

artificial lift / well type matrix
rig & rigless artificial lift optimization opportunities
artificial lift intervention requirements for repair and / or optimization
rigless vs. rig interventions
artificial lift operation and monitoring system
best applicable performance monitoring devices
operational practices applicable in Cendor 2
cost & added value of monitoring system
artificial lift types with equipment suppliers and Peer Review - Workshop
conceptual artificial lift design for each well type
artificial lift design in conjunction with equipment suppliers
tubulars, auxiliary equipment, cables, pumps, motors, protectors, etc.”

Write report on artificial lift strategy
well/field performances with the advice of Reservoir Engineering and
Geoscientists for optimum ultimate recovery, to recommend required workovers

individual well gas lift performances and proposes remedial activities.

historical well stimulation activities and provides analysis.

Cost estimates and manages cost, schedule and quality of the respective
production enhancement services to be executed by service contractors.

Skills and Experience:
Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or Earth Science from recognized university
Minimum 5 years working experience in similar position, preferably with an oil company
Technical knowledge of and familiarity with aspects of reservoir
characterisation, drilling, well testing, well operations, process facilities
and production chemistry.
Very familiar with software covering: well test analysis, well
flow analysis, OFM
Analytical and interpretative skills / expertise in:
Multiphase flow modelling and prediction, including artificial
Completion architecture and design.
Factors affecting well productivity and operation.
Well versed in Microsoft Offices (Excel, Words and Power Point)
Must be able generate ideas and then communicate/discuss idea
within the group
Able to work within small teams so strong teamwork ethic required
