Working within a multi-discipline engineering, production technology and completion design capabilities to evaluate and demonstrate production enhancement performance of Tendeka's advanced completion technology portfolio.
The Petroleum Engineer will use commercial wellbore flow simulation and nodal analysis software to quantify the production benefits of inflow control and advanced completion technology applied to client's asset and provide the front-end engineering design basis for the well completion design. The Petroleum Engineer will be expected to evaluate the suitability of application, optimise completion design, and demonstrate the value of Tendeka technical solutions.
Further to this, the Petroleum Engineer will engage with specialists within the client operator to further their understanding of the technology performance and provide guidance to aid the client to model walls with advanced completion equipment effectively
Modelling and reporting on the performance and application of inflow control and intelligent completion technology, including the use of in-house techniques, nodal analysis and wellbore flow modelling
Engagement with petroleum engineering functions withing the client organisation to gather technical data, present results of technical studies, and provide guidance in the effective modelling to inflow and intelligent completion technologies.
Providing post-installation performance analysis and interpretation, including history matching, and production optimisation support.
Training and development of technical resources through the company Business Development function to increase capabilities of client facing organisation.
Provide technical support as required.
Technical authorship on Tendeka technology and case histories and promotion at industry events
Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering
Master's Degree in Petroleum or Reservoi Engineering
Experience in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering functions
Working knowledge of nodal analysis using commercial software
Working knowledge of completion technology, fucntionality and application
Knowledge of drilling/completions operations and/or engineering
Knowledge across multi-discipline petroleum engineering skills: e.g. geology, petrophysics, reservoir engineering and production technology
Effective communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal personnel, and to represent Tendeka at industry events
Experience using NETool well performance modelling software.
Ability to plan, control and take responsibility for own work and related decisions
Problem solving approach and a "get it right first time" attitude
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and good team work skills
Strong ability to perform well under pressure of a high and varied work load, tight deadlines and changing job priorities
Attention to detail in all aspects of the role
