PETROLEUM ENGINEERFort Worth, TexasSalary and Compensation Commensurate with Skills and ExperienceRelocation Assistance AvailableDynamic, privately held E&P; with a proven track record of growth is seeking a Petroleum Engineer with a mix of reservoir and operations engineering experience. This person will play a key role in the commercial and technical analysis of a variety of opportunities. Areas of focus and activity include West Texas/Permian Basin.RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide direct operations and reservoir engineering support.Provide economic evaluations of development projects, including risk analysis and forecasting.Daily coordination and documentation of historical well and production data, wellbore schematics, and well/production surveillance.AFE preparation, justification, procedures, and cost reconciliation.Identification of Behind Pipe and production enhancement opportunities.Review and monitor operating costs to identify areas of improvement and enhance efficiencies and profits.Occasional travel for field supervision.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering with 5+ years industry experience.Operations engineering experience, at the field level preferred.Strong working knowledge of industry standard reservoir engineering evaluation and analysis techniques.West Texas/Permian Basin experience a plus.Proficiency in PHDWin, ARIES or POWER TOOLS and IHS/PETRA software.Ability to work as an integral part of a small team.Demonstrated work ethic and leadership capabilities.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented self-starter with excellent organizational skills.Job Type: Full-timeRequired experience:reservoir and operations engineering: 3 yearsRequired education:Bachelor's
