Liaises with client to understand their requirements and provide input and technical advice on how Expro can help to maximise hydrocarbon recovery at the different stages of field evaluation, development and production.
Key Activities and Accountabilities:
.Liaise with geoscientists, production and reservoir engineers, and operations managers to interpret well-logging results and predict production potential.
.Compile detailed development plans of reservoir performance using mathematical models to ensure maximum economic recovery.
.Select optimal tubing size and suitable equipment within the well for different functions.
.Design the completion - the part of the well that communicates with the reservoir rock and fluids.
.Design systems that help the well to flow, for example using submersible pumps.
.Manage problems of fluid behaviour and production chemistry.
.Evaluate and recommend flow rate enhancement by using, for example, hydraulic fracturing (to force fluid into a well and fracture the rock) and acid treatment (to erode the rock and improve flow path).
.Manage and control wells with branches at the bottom (horizontal and multilateral wells).
.Use well and reservoir remote sensing technology and surveillance data to manage the value of the reservoir and decide on appropriate engineering interventions.
.Understand and manage how a set of wells interact.
.May supervise well-site operations personnel and other staff, including the training and supervision of crew members, to ensure that everyone works as a team in order to meet deadlines to clients' satisfaction.
.Liaises with operations and other departments to ensure correct progress with projects.
.Liaises with clients to keep them informed of progress.

.Actively comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Promote HSE awareness; take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others. Demonstrate the personal application of HSE procedures in daily performance and always follow the 10 Safety House Rules.
.Ensure objectives set under Employee Development Plan are met.
