Main Responsibilities: 

�X The petroleum engineer��s primary role is to provide technical support relating to all aspects of oil and gas well activities in an actively expanding program, including: well completions, safe operations, production surveillance/optimization, well intervention, and application of new technologies.
�X Prepare detailed job programs and supervise jobs in the field.
�X Perform well intervention activities to obtain required well/reservoir performance data.
�X Perform production optimization activities to ensure reliability and optimum well performance.
�X Participate in project technical review and review proposals to ensure efficient/economic operations.
�X Champion new technologies aimed at improving well productivity and streamlining efficiency.
�X Represent the company in dealing with manufactures, vendors and outside consultants.
�X Conduct seminars, prepare manuals and train engineers and operating personnel.

Minimum Requirements: 

�X As the successful candidate you will hold a degree in Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent) from a recognized and approved program.
�X Must have at least 10 years of applicable experience in the oil and gas industry.
�X Must be proficient in PE software applications, including: flow simulation, tubing movement, nodal analysis, PTA and production surveillance.
�X Ability to provide technical support for gas well operations, including all aspects of well intervention, horizontal/multilateral well intervention, well testing, application of state-of-the-art technologies and troubleshooting.
